Prop Freddie Brennan-Jones was a late pickup by the Rhinos Academy in 2022 but was an important member of the squad that lifted the Academy Grand Final trophy at the end of the season.
The prop was picked up by Leeds from Castleford Tigers Scholarship and progressed into the club's academy in 2020. During his time with the Tigers, he also earned a two-week loan spell with League One side Doncaster and came off the bench in the fourth round of the Challenge Cup.
2022 saw Brennan-Jones join the Rhinos and make his first appearance in the Reserves against Hull FC. For the Under-18s Academy, he made his bow at Headingley Stadium against Warrington in 2022 before helping the Rhinos to Grand Final glory against St Helens.
In 2023, he was a regular appearance maker for both the club's Academy and Reserves teams. Used as a starter for the Academy, he played five times over the course of the season, whilst his nine Reserves outings saw the forward score two tries in wins over Wakefield Trinity and Salford Red Devils.
Ahead of 2024, he will feature more heavily for the Reserves.
